Lionel Scaloni seguirá como DT de la Selección Argentina hasta 2026

Continuará dirigiendo al conjunto nacional hasta el Mundial de México, Estados Unidos y Canadá 2026

El director técnico Lionel Scaloni será entrenador de la Selección Argentina hasta 2026 tras renovar su vínculo con la Asociación de Fútbol Argentino (AFA). Es decir, seguirá al mando del conjunto nacional hasta el Mundial de México, Estados Unidos y Canadá 2026.

"Cuando la confianza es alta, la comunicación es sencilla y efectiva. Seguimos afianzando el proyecto de selecciones nacionales, junto a Lionel Scaloni, el DT campeón del mundo", escribió Claudio "Chiqui" Tapia junto a una foto de ambos.

A su vez, desde la cuenta de AFA, escribieron: "Confirmado: hay Lionel Scaloni para rato. ¡Seguimos!".

De esta forma, Scaloni dirigirá a los campeones del mundo contra Panamá en el estadio Monumental el 23 de marzo, mientras que el encuentro ante Surinam será el 28 del mismo mes, aunque resta definir qué recinto albergará el espectáculo.
