El fuego afectó las instalaciones de la planta fabril de "MardelPlástico", ubicada en Juan B. Justo al 5200, en el barrio Bosque Alegre, donde efectivos de los cuarteles Central, Monolito y Puerto lograron sofocar las llamas tras evacuar a 16 personas de un geriátrico y otras viviendas linderas.
