Las denominadas carreras STEM (Ciencias, Tecnología, Ingenierías, Matemáticas) siguen siendo uno de los espacios más masculinizados. El 22 de abril se celebra el Día Internacional de las Niñas en las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación cuyo objetivo es alentar a las niñas y mujeres jóvenes a considerar la posibilidad de orientar sus estudios y profesiones al campo de las carreras tecnológicas. Al respecto opinó para Télam Evelyn Aguirre Almaraz, equipo de Comunicación de Grow- género y trabajo.
